For many, God does not exist. For others, God exists, but has nothing to do with this world and the individuals who inhabit it. Perhaps there is a force, a motor behind the processes of history and creation. But a personal God? That concept of God slowly faded after the atrocities of recent centuries. Science and technology have taken its place. But will they be able to save the world? To save our lives? To instill peace and happiness in us? The Christian faith claims to be a source of liberation and redemption. A source of inner freedom. But is there a truly free life? A daily life full of energy, power, enthusiasm, a life of “wow”? And if it exists, how do we make it our own? The author wants to show, based on the Bible, that it is indeed possible to face life from a perspective of victory. It is not a utopia, but a promise of the Bible!
