Today, EUN renews itself as a publishing house, cultural platform, and Christian publishing project, combining books, videos, podcasts, events, and digital content.

A story that began over 70 years ago.

Edizioni Umanità Nuova was born from the vision of Giuseppe Laiso, a central figure in the history of Christian communication in Italy and among the pioneers who helped pave the way for Italian free radio.

From that vision, a publishing house took shape, capable of collecting, preserving, and disseminating testimonies, books, and content designed to speak to people's faith, conscience, and lives. Today, that history continues with new leadership and a renewed language: Alessandro Iovino and Ilaria Di Vaio embrace this legacy with the goal of bringing EUN into the present, without distorting its identity.

Alessandro Iovino

President of EUN

Alessandro Iovino is an author, journalist, and essayist. He published his first book at 19 and over the years has built an editorial, cultural, and public career capable of engaging with institutional, religious, journalistic, and social spheres. Today he is president of EUN – Edizioni Umanità Nuova, where he leads the publishing house's new direction with a clear vision: to bring the Christian message into a wider circuit, made up of books, media, interviews, conferences, institutional relations, and editorial content.

A journey built on culture, faith, and public dialogue.

His work stems from the intersection of culture, faith, and communication. This journey has led him to publish over 20 books, receive more than 15 literary awards, conduct over 150 interviews, and engage in dialogues with figures from the cultural, political, religious, sporting, and institutional worlds.

In 2022, he edited the commemorative volume for the tenth anniversary of the Andrea Bocelli Foundation, which included an interview with Andrea Bocelli.

Creative and Editorial Director EUN

Ilaria Di Vaio is an author, creator, and creative director. Over the years, she has built a recognizable digital presence, capable of speaking to a wide audience with a human, familiar, spiritual, and contemporary language. At EUN, she holds the role of creative and editorial director, bringing a vision that unites narrative sensibility, digital communication, and attention to how people today read, listen, watch, and seek answers.

Her work stems from a simple belief: a profound message should not remain distant. It must be told with care, made accessible, and brought to the places where people truly live their time: books, videos, podcasts, social media, events, and digital content.
