Giancarlo Rinaldi takes inspiration from an "urban legend" according to which the origins of the Assemblies of God in Italy should be attributed to the hidden actions of Freemasonry. He re-examines, using a historical method and new unpublished documentation, the figures and events of that epic, which was instead luminous, and also casts a glance at the future of Italian Pentecostalism.
