"And a highway shall be there, and a road, and it shall be called the Highway of Holiness." Isaiah 35:8
There is a way that God has prepared for His children to walk. It is "the way of holiness." He desires that we walk this way and has provided us with some easily identifiable signs to guide us. The question is whether or not we will choose to follow them. When you come to the crossroads of spiritual decision, you must make a choice: pay attention to God's given signs and continue, day after day, on this important path, or ignore them and go your own way. You might find yourself facing sin, fighting against someone who has hurt you, or struggling with the idea of submitting completely to God. No matter where you are, denying or ignoring God's directives will leave you immature and incapable; following them will allow you to face situations with wisdom, obedience, grace, and victory.
"The way of holiness" illustrates that every decision crisis in the Christian life comes to a turning point. An opportunity to choose God, express your devotion, and put His directives into practice. There are inevitable decisions you will have to face on your Christian journey.
Taking God's will to heart will allow you to rejoice in all that God has in store for you along "the way of holiness."
