Not many years have passed since the author observed the crisis in the Church. Euphoria and spectacle were replacing devotion and communion with the Lord Jesus Christ.
David Wilkerson was convinced that Christians needed to be shaken by a strong message that would spur them to seek righteousness and holiness.
