EUN partner of the We the Italians Gala in Rome: an editorial bridge between Italy and America
On this occasion, we remembered that stories know no borders. They change languages, cross oceans, but continue to do what they have always done: bring people together. Perhaps because the truest stories speak of the things every human being seeks: hope, forgiveness, faith, and love. And this has always been, and continues to be, our mission.
For us at EUN – Edizioni Umanità Nuova, being a partner of the We the Italians Gala in Rome was an occasion of great cultural and human value.
The evening celebrated personalities who, through their own paths, have contributed to bringing prestige to the relationship between Italy and America, strengthening that bond made of history, identity, culture, and a shared vision.
Within this context, the presence of EUN represented a sign consistent with our editorial mission: to publish books capable of crossing borders, generations, and cultures, bringing stories that speak to the mind and the soul.
All Gala participants were gifted Franklin Graham's book, “Through the Eyes of My Father,” published by EUN. An intense work dedicated to the figure of Billy Graham, one of the most influential preachers of the twentieth century, told through the personal and profound gaze of his son, Franklin.
The book was also at the center of the video screened during the evening: a visual story in which Ilaria Di Vaio traveled through the pages of the work, ideally crossing the places where Billy Graham had brought his message. A way to transform the book into experience, memory, and narrative.
For EUN, bringing this title to the We the Italians Gala had a particular significance. The story of Billy Graham is, in fact, deeply linked to America, but his message has transcended geographical boundaries, speaking to millions of people around the world.
In an evening dedicated to the relationship between Italy and the United States, “Through the Eyes of My Father” thus became a powerful editorial symbol: a book capable of uniting memory, faith, culture, and testimony.
Being a partner of the Gala allowed us to share our vision in front of an audience attentive to the value of stories that build bridges. Because we believe that books can do just that: create connections, preserve legacies, open questions, and leave a mark over time.
From Perugia, EUN continues its path with the goal of carrying forward a new season of Christian publishing: rooted in history, yet capable of speaking to the present with new, profound, and universal languages.
