Wilkerson Gary The cross, the dagger, and the man who believed
David Wilkerson had a radical vision and believed that God could work great transformations and miracles among the outcast and the lost. Going against common opinion, he refused to abandon street people, even when they had lost faith in themselves. He had a supernatural sensitivity when he looked into the eyes of drug addicts or outcasts, and he saw Christ in them. David Wilkerson will challenge you to take God's call to love 'one of these least' seriously, as if your very life depended on it. The story, told by his son Gary, is gripping and full of hardship, hope, and passion. David Wilkerson brought a winning combination of Love and the Gospel to crime-ridden streets.

Jašek Petr In prison with ISIS
“Silence suddenly fell in the cell – then frantic shouts of “Allahu Akbar!” erupted. I immediately held my breath, shocked. I wide-eyed. The men jumped up from the floor and embraced each other with gestures of jubilation. They raised their arms in triumph and danced around the crowded cell, patting each other on the back and smiling. I moved very slowly towards the nearest wall, my hands suddenly damp. Drops of sweat appeared above my upper lip and on my forehead, and I tried not to tremble. For several minutes, my cellmates celebrated the success of the terrorist attack in France. I had seen that kind of Muslim celebration on television, but experiencing it firsthand was shocking. I realized, in those terrifying moments, that I had been imprisoned with Islamic extremists. And I would learn that my cellmates were, in fact, ISIS members.” Petr Jašek is the son of a pastor who was persecuted in communist Czechoslovakia. In 2002, he joined the humanitarian organization The Voice of the Martyrs (VOM) to use his professional experience in healthcare to serve persecuted Christians in many nations, especially those in Africa where Christian persecution is most violent, such as Nigeria or Sudan. For this reason, in 2015, he was arrested in Sudan and imprisoned for 445 days. Petr Jašek now travels the world as a VOM ambassador, recounting his imprisonment and encouraging believers to support and help persecuted Christians.

ten Boom Corrie The Hideaway
Corrie ten Boom's first book, an international bestseller that was also made into a successful film. Set in 1940, it is the moving and tragic story of the events that revolutionized the author's life, from the "hiding place" where her family harbored those persecuted by the Nazis, to the concentration camps where her loved ones lost their lives. A succession of miracles and horrific experiences, of fears and victories, in which, however, an unshakeable faith in the living God always has the last word. "No pit is so deep that He is not deeper still," will be the phrase with which Corrie remembers those days.

Smith Riley K. China's Bloody Trail
China is one of the world’s oldest civilizations. Much of its long history is a bloody trail of those who have heeded God’s call, proclaimed the message of Jesus Christ, and given their lives. During the Boxer Rebellion in 1900, the courage shown by the Christians killed by the rebels’ swords was such that the Boxers tore out the martyrs’ hearts in search of the secret of their boldness. Finding nothing but flesh, they concluded that it must be “foreign devil medicine.” They did not recognize the power of the Holy Spirit. Today, the same Holy Spirit strengthens Chinese Christians who are arrested, beaten, and imprisoned for attending unregistered churches, owning a Bible, and telling others about Christ. The testimonies in these pages challenge you to stand firm in Christ and support persecuted Chinese Christians.

Glardon Augusto Carlo Finney – Biography
CHARLES FINNEY, a young lawyer, came into personal contact with Christ, and from that moment his life was completely transformed. "The impulse of my soul," Finney recounts, "was so impetuous that I rushed to pray in the room next to my study. There was neither light nor fire in it, yet it seemed entirely illuminated to me. As soon as I entered and closed the door behind me, I felt as if I met face to face with the Lord Jesus Christ. I received the baptism of the Holy Spirit. I had the sensation of an electric wave coursing through my entire being: waves upon waves of love. I could not express this reality with different words: it seemed to me that it was the very breath of the Lord. I remember distinctly feeling as if immense wings were fanning me... a wonderful love was poured into my heart. I wept aloud with love and joy."This fascinating biography presents the interested reader with the reality and power of the baptism of the Holy Spirit for a life of living faith.

Graham Franklin Through my father's eyes
Billy Graham was focused, anchored to God's calling. He set his hand to a heavenly task and set his feet firmly on the narrow path, following in the Lord's footsteps, wherever they led. He was a man who realized his limitations and grasped God's authority. He was convinced by the message God put in his heart and understood its power. My father heard his calling and God's guidance. He lived his life guided by his Heavenly Father. These are the lessons he taught me. I have the privilege of being able to tell this story THROUGH MY FATHER'S EYES.

Dapozzo Erino Hamburg 1944-45
Hamburg '44 is not a true war story, nor is it an essay against one side or the other that played a significant role in the last great world conflict. Against the tragic backdrop of Hitler's Germany in Hamburg in 1944, the compelling episodes narrated by Erino Dapozzo primarily bring us back to contemplate the themes of hatred and violence as a consequence of wickedness and spiritual disorder. In a very particular way, Erino Dapozzo's reflections lead us to evaluate and deepen our personal relationship with God. Very often, in times of danger and suffering, people wonder if God exists and where He is; Erino Dapozzo, precisely in those circumstances, we see him firmly believing that 'all things work together for good' for him, and therefore wholeheartedly thanking the Lord. And that faith proves to be a demonstration of things unseen, the faith of the Bible.
